Its 930. We were supposed to wake up at 8 and leave Valdosta. How does this always happen to us!? We left Tina's around 10am, I drove for about three hours then Dennis took over.
The rain on this drive has been insane, especially since our windshield wipers don't even work. Even though the rain has been coming down hard we decided to drive a little out of the way to check out Pensacola Beach. Luckily right when we got there the clouds opened up and the sun came out. It was great. The sand was so white and the water was so warm.
As I was Inching my way into the water being scared because we heard that shark attacks are common on this beach I see a fin pop up about 20 feet from us. I freaked out and thought it was a shark. No one believed me at first. As we saw it a second time someone told us they were just dolphins. Haha so that was a relief.
Everyone bailed out of the water because of some stinging nettles or jelly fish. Bunch of babies. As they showered I stayed in the water and collected some pretty interested shells.
After getting changed we got icee's then left Pensacola around 330pm.
We got to the venue right when the show started. It's was at some
Thrift store. The show was pretty interesting, some band covered expire...haha. We played and had a great set, kids were into it.
After we played I took a shower at the place it was awesome. I talked with the owner of the thrift store for awhile and he turned out to be a really nice guy who helped us out big time.
We went to this chicken place called Raising Cane's Chicken. It was so good, much better than Zaxbys.
After we ate we went to some apartment complex where someone from the show had a swimming pool. We had a lot of fun there, we were throwing the chairs and umbrellas in the deep end of the pool. It was a lot of fun.
Now we're on the road to Houston.
Going to sleep in the loft, night
