I've been slacking at keeping this blog updated. I apologize for that. I've been getting extremely Lazy for some reason. Anyways max drove for about 2 hours to a truck stop. I was up in the loft and I could barely fall asleep. We slept at the truck stop for 3 or so hours. It was miserable and extremely hot. We all woke up then headed back onto the road.
We got into Jacksonville around 3pm. And went straight to the show. The show was at a venue called the Phoenix Taproom. It was huge. The show was supposed to start at 330 but ended up starting at 6 and there was like 20 bands that were playing...uh does this promoter know what he is doing, not to mention no one was back lining. We watched the first band then walked around. There was so kind of marathon run we checked out, nothing cool.
As we came back Dennis and Max called us and told us to go to some
Hotel and tell them we were apart of the Murphy Patel Wedding and then to go onto the 4th floor. There was a sick rooftop pool! It was awesome and so refreshing! I have no idea how Dennis and max pulled it off.
We went back to the show and ate some BBQ and watched some bands. We ended up going to the Jacksonville landing for dinner. It was okay. Oh! One of the dudes in Strike to Survive had the worlds hottest hot sauce and a couple of us had a drop of it. It was insane! My face got numb! Cailin was like crying hahah.
We sat around and skated until 1030pm and finally got to play. It wasnt anything special. Like 5 bands played after us. We loaded up and got out of there around 130pm.
We left Jacksonville and got to Valdosta GA where Scott has some family with a really nice house. We pull into there around 4am and went to bed. Thanks for letting us crash here Tina!
